    Wollongong Area

    Happy Easter to all ,

Just moved south to Wollongong, yeah I know, why leave Qld???? The job offer was too good to refuse. Anyway, not sure if there are many, if any, members down this way but a bit of help with the usual where to fish problem would be appreciated. Land based at this stage.

Peter ... Welcome to the real world
Mate you have plenty of rock fishing options .... Places I've fished are Coledale , Port Kembla break walls / the Honeycombs , Windang Is , Bass Point (Shell harbour) & the Kiama Blowhole ..... I've caught ... Bream , snapper , Kingies , Tailor , Salmon & the occasional jew ..... Just be careful as some of these spots face deep water & can be dangerous in the wrong conditions
If you end up with a boat .... the world is your oyster
The esturys can be pretty good to the south ..... Minamurra is a good stating point ....... If you dont mind a 2-3 hours drive you have endless places to visit / stay ...... It really is a great part of the world NAGG

If you join the Ex Servo club in the city they have a fishing club and go out on a boat one a month, sea fishing, cost about $20.
