just wondering if there are any blackfish showing up in the tweed yet, and if not when will they ? also does any one know where to get green or black weed in the area ?
was down there in the middle of march and saw heeps of them of the end of the seaway . You could see them as plain as day come into the rocks for a feed when the waves came in.
damn only just found this thread .. am wondering when the season is myself.. as for locations on green and black weed.... jsut do some searching mate, closely guarded secrets
The older locals in the know get them all year round in the tweed its just that the numbers of fish increase when it gets cooler as far as weed is concerned try looking around some of the feeder creeks that go into some of the fresh water dams around the back of the tugan airport although one was just filled in recently,so you missed out on that location.
thanks all to those who replied, fould some back weed on the way to tumbulgum in the feeder creeks through the cane fields, but not alot if that helps any one, i will let you know how i go through the winter
