    Congrats Brent,

It was a sure thing ..... But only a matter of time. You have every right to take this one, but we are on the same page for any future fish around that size from here on

Looking forward to catching up with you on the water!

Top snapper mate, congrats on the PB. What kind of outfit were you using to nail that big guy?

Re: Its been a long wait for my trophy fish

Thanks for the kind words guys.
    Murph77 i used a Loomis /certate combo.
You need a reel with a smooth drag because any jerkyness in the spool will see a big fish break the line in no time.
It sure gets the adrenaline flowing knowing you are only using light gear and you pray your knots hold.
We get busted up all the time but thats fishing....just makes you try harder next trip until you finally nail the big one.
    Cheers Brent

    Heya Aquarius

Perfect size fish, gets you into that yeeha zone but still leaves plenty of room to keep nudging that PB up for more feel good days. If these plastics boys keep going the way they are the bait boys might have to try at this years Mud M&G

    WELL BLOODY DONE BRENT!!!!

I'm green (Mud) with envy and i am feeling TINN and my turn will hopefully come this winter! Patience is a virtue nonetheless and how bloody patient you have been!! Now we just have to be more patient and persist a bit more at Mud ourselves...

Excellent work again! You must have been thrilled to catch that on a blue/green 'PILLIE' (just for WEBBY)...

My ultimate goal is to get a 10 kilo and release it.
I reckon that would make any fisherperson happy for life.
