Brisbane River Good Friday
after a very late start, put it at Colmslie and headed up to the mouth. Fished the wall at the reclamation pond and Pinkenba for a big load of throw back bream and moses perch and squire.
Decided to move out to spot X. Now why do we call it spot X? cant it be spot W or S or D or anything else? Who designated it would be called spot X?
anyway, using mullet strips had a few big hits, couple pf hook ups but nothing in the esky. Until a freight train hit me. Never had a flathead fight like this bugger did, Thought i had Jaws on. HE came in at 44cm and went into the esky for lunch.
And check the other pic,for all you rabbitoh fans.a green and red striped south sydney fish,,,,,,,unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!
Looked acroos to the north, man was there some boats watching the yachts........musta been hundreds there
