Mud Yesterday
Work is quiet, so went out to mud yesterday morning, conditions were ok, bit of a breeze but not too bad.....plenty of small stuff around knocking off the bait , caught an assortment of things that would look ok in a fish tank. Only one squire just below legal , and one of those BANG GONES!!!...last week there were grass sweetlip everywhere, a fish a cast and some good size ones....not yesterday but..

Hi Juju,
Were you anchored? What did you try, what kinda bait? Try there again over the EAster break and they will come up wearing ear plugs

Re: Mud Yesterday
We were using squid, drifting from where the trawlers were tired on the northern end out towards moreton......while ive been sitting here in my office at home, ive seen about 20 boats go down the road...getting petrol at the servo, ill wait until they go back to work before going out again

Re: Mud Yesterday
In case any of you boys are headed out tommorow morning, ive been out the last 2 mornings and the fish shut down quick after sunrise the last 2 days, my advise would be to be at your spot at 4.30 or earlier and i have been finding good results in the dark using 4 inch gulp swimming mullet in white.
