Those limits are basically in part to satisfy OH&S laws, Lake Lenthalls is a work site and therefore has to be secure. WBWC wants to ensure safety of our visitors whilst they enjoy the Lake, rather than close it to the public until works are complete. The restrictions also help with boating safety, environmental concerns and water quality.
There are various groups which feel that boating & fishing should be totally banned at Lake Lenthall.
If it all boiled down to money then WBWC would not open Saturday & Sunday, they are the most expensive days to have security on site.
Cheers
