Good way to celebrate your b'day Scooc's. That is a long slender specimen for a bass, the tail wrist looks extremely long. Dunno about 68cm though, although I imagine you're referring to tip rather than fork length. And they will shrink a bit after being out of the water a while. Top fish none the less mate, good on ya.

gotta get yourself a brag mat.... nice bass... but 68cm to the tail might be a stretch. Nonetheless, nice fish.

Why general location given?...... pffft .... I disagree with your secrecy. The more people that support local stocked fisheries the better, and advertising the location is always good to promote the industry. No need to give exact location just a dam, shire... etc.

Remind me to never share any info with you mate.
Not enough time in the day, to many spots to fish!

well done mate, 68cm is a top bass,
biggest ive ever heard of so congrats.

might have to invest in a brag mat mate.

hey also re the black out in pics thats a bit cheeky isnt it hehe.
i dont think bass will stay in the one spot in an impoundment anyways.

well done & happy bday mate

What a way to spend the day hey!

I spent my birthday flickin lures this year too but the results were less than favourable.......I caught squat!
The next day was better for me though.

Well done mate, that's a pretty good session!!!!

I agree with Fullboar - not at least giving an indication of which impoundment it was caught at is abit ridiculous.

A 68cm bass would definitely be one very large fish - there is no doubt that the bass in the last pic is one big fish but it is hard to tell the length. Those two daylight shots are not of the same fish as pictured in the last night time picture is it? They are VERY skinny and long fish compared to the thickness of the bass in the last pic.
Nice fish anyway: I can truely say it is over the 50cm mark
    How did the fish fight?

Nice work mate, a birthday to remember. What reason would he have to lie about the size of his fish? I'd assume were supposed to belive you guys when you post reports or is that why your sus because you exagerate?

P.S Agree with the others though about not giving the location of the dam, and blacking photos seems to be a growing trend.

Whatever the sz of those biggies, they're corkers Congrats

And if u want to keep any one particular spot private, maybe just get the photo taker to stand up if possible, and aim down before clicking away. The pic will then come out sans background. Its just a bit of a shame to black out a good pic, especially if its of a prized fish.

Re: Big bass on my b-day

Pity you killed it! It would of taken years for that fish to grow to the reported size...and in one foul swoop, its dead. Such a waste!!!

    P.S Happy Birthday though.
