    Re: Pine Rivers Fish Stocking

    Hi all,

I too will attend the next meeting if it doesn''t clash with a night shift ( another shift worker) and I would like to contribute to the fish stocking in our local waterways. I am a mad keen bass fisherman who has often taken my 2 bass limit from Lake Samsonvale, and this will be my opportunity to contribute to hopefully a viable future for further fish stocking in these and other local waters.

Plus I can get to meet some of the folk I don't know yet.

    Chris

But I also take your point, they have chosen their funding methodology, nothing I can do about it, and I am willing to support the stocking associations when I can. I tried to get a North Pine permit when I first took up freshwater fishing, but it was just as the water disappeared and they stopped selling them. I have emailed them at there email address on the web site in the past asking about helping out but have received no response.

If I can get along to the next meeting I'll offer in person! Or perhaps I'll offer to the Kerwongbah subgroup, they will probably need it more just starting out and all.
      Hey Mate,
I'm working as hard as I can trying to achieve funding to follow up on all Fitzy's good work. As I get further into it I'm realising the possible scope of what can be achieved here and what has to be done to achieve it. I for one can tell you your assistance will be very much appreciated. As for the SIPS issue I understand what you are saying but I've found out there is a bit more to the story than what appears on the surface and in all probability the group has achieved the best possible outcome for the situation. Still come along check it out and make up your own mind.
