First one's a grunter (officially javelin fish), the other two are small threadfin, probably the local one called puttynose perch, although they are usually a bit more of a yellow colour than that

Yep, first one a grunter no doubt.

And the other two are definently some sort of salmon, either small threadfin as freeeedom suggested, or they could be a variety called Gunther's Threadfin. My book at home ( Marine Fishes of the Great Barrier Reef and Southeast Asia by Gerry Allen) describes this species as:

Inhabits coastal waters over mud and sad bottoms; distinguished by divided pectoral fin with lower part containing 7 free filaments and most of dorsal fin blackish; found mainly in the West Pacific; grows to 20cm.

    Just a thought.

    Cheers, Mitch.

I'd say small King Threadfin salmon. There have been a few Threadies that have ventured into the Pine so I would put my bet on KT Salmon.
