redfin are taken from water as they compete with natives

like how you guys would take zanderand the signalk cray which compete with your natives

if there are heaps of these little 6 inch then the bigger yella cods and bass have a decent feed but if too many they have no feed

just thought i would state the obvious

I doubt that there are enough redfin taken by anglers for that to be the case.

If you believe that take a look at some of the catch reports from Blowering dam, The anglers go out with fish finders and sit over the shoal and just haul the fish out, captures of 30, 40 or more fish are common and we are not talking the odd angler (if thats the correct term considering the amount of skill/ watercraft involved)

    Best regards

Dunno where I said we take Zander for the table mate!! What I did say is some people trap Crays, but not enough to affect their numbers. The Zander has become accepted as a 'native' and is represented in our national records list.

But thank you for posting your reply mate, some of your fellow fisho's are a bit on the shy side.

Best regards Dude, hope you catch a big 'un.
