Wondering what others do , fairly recently I went in search of screen overlay material hoping to get A4 sheet size and simply cut to fit , couldn't find what I wanted so I ended up buying HP Ipaq screen overlays from Dick Smiths , $20 for a pack of 20 but they're only about 3" X 2" , fine for the mobile phone but on screens bigger than that i.e. the sounder , gps , more than one is required which is less than ideal .
I know a lot of people don't bother with anything , but eventually they will inevitably get marks on them and if it gets too bad , will need to be polished out.
Anyway , I have found that laser do make them , in a range of sheet sizes too , for laptops and so on - laser product info">laser product info
so now I just need to get one of my local shops to get some in .
