    Repairs to Cast Net

Can anyone tell me where I can get a cast net repaired??

Also, anyone cast netting in Tingalpa creek will find that there is less logs getting caught in there cast nets,Im sure will pulled half a forest out of there a couple of weeks ago.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

unless you can get an old pro (fisherman that is) to do it for free, you might as well buy a new one, they are reasonably cheap, or learn how to do it yourself, not all that hard.

    Re: Repairs to Cast Net

Unfortunately this net was custom made (made in nth Qld) and is not your el cheapo type that you would get from a tackle store, hence the reason for the repair and repaired properly.

I had to clarify the type of pro, as there are some pros who would know nothing about cast nets, but, I have seen a few In fishnets and high heels lurking around street corners.

    Re: Repairs to Cast Net

I did a search and found this :

"there is a castnet maker at redlands on 07 3206 6379 called Bob. give him a call and tell him what you want. think I would get a quote before mentioning a budget. good luck silver19"

    maybe give him a try.
