    Question small tinny fishing Southern Brisbane/GC

    Hi, have just came into possession of a 11' tinny with a 6 hp motor looking for locations around Beenleigh/ Northern GC to fish and crab. Thanks Kev

    Logan river (lauch from Carbrook) is a start or venture down to Cabbage tree or Jacobs well.
    Lots of exploring to do
    Good news about getting a boat eh

    Mate my son goes in the coomera river live bait around the marinas and picks up some nice jacks

    Mate I would definately be heading into the pimpama river if i was you it is a top location and is very well sheltered from the elements. Your best bet would be to launch from diamond head at the end of Foxwell road.

    Pump some yabbies from inbetween the second and third green in the logan if you are leaving from carbrook then drift over the sandbanks on the northern side and catch some elbow slappers (whiting.) Take a couple of hammers to throw at the mozzies.
