Jobs to do whilst it's out of the water

    Hi All,

I'm having my boat antifouled in the next few weeks, (it's an old fiberglass displacement boat with a ford diesel and a shaft). Apart from antifoul and the shaft bearings what else needs doing/checking while it's out of the water?

Steam clean under and the motor. Check the exhaust pipes if there rubber and or replace them. If she's like me old mans boat she will sink trying to replace the exhaust while in the water.

Has she got zinc anodes on the rudder, if so replace.
Anodes on the heat exchanger replace.
Remove the fuel tank and give it a check out and good clean, replace fuel lines and hose clamps.

Also check your engine mounts for perishing.
