iv been fly fishing for 3yrs now and all iv done is fresh water fly fishing in nz (we have just moved over) and i live 3hrs away from hervey bay and we go up there once every weekend and people have been telling me that H-B has supplied good fish while fly fishing i just wanted t know what gear to use and where to get fly tying gear as my local shops dont sell it also bcf dont

As far as gear goes Tie n Fly outfitters at point cartwright is the only Fly only Saltwater Fly fishing Shop in Queensland ( maybe Australia). here is his site

Tackle Warehouse has everything you need for fly. Whole floor dedicated. Thing I like is if they don't have it they will get it for you.
By the way Liberty if you click on Queensland instead of Qld on the sage website it brings up Tackle Warehouse. I got caught years ago - obviously the Americans think there are 2 Queenslands in Australia. Subsequently have purchased 4 sage rods over the years from the guys.
