brissie river mouth 21st

had a session at the mouth today, 3rd cast and zzzzzzzzzzzz back to the wall ,smoked with no way of turning this sucker. followed by a few small squire and then a cod of about 53cm was enticed from his lair. Another zzzzzzzzzzzz again and this one heading directly along the walls and left me with the decision of put on the brakes or respool. Tough fishing on your own and no electric. then on to a patch of bream 23-27mm ( returned ) ,and then 1 more freight train zzzzzzzzzzzzz straight back into the rocks. Some bloody good fish around the brissie at the moment and they had their turn today at kicking my butt.A beautiful morning on the water . Had the pleasure of meeting blackie at the ramp at fishermans. Man Knows his stuff with a few nice cod and lizards.Cheers

Good to see the brissy river is fishing well. Got a few cod myself from the mouth and beakons when I used to live there. the residient squire are also fun.

You have always done well at the mouth and the jewies should be on the chew there now as well.
