Coomera jack!

Mate and i decided to go for a fish yesterday arvo after work, Joes workmate said get down there and give it a go! GAURANTEED TO GET ONE! Yeah right i said, how often do you fish for the buggers and never get one. Joe hasnt done much fishn but was keen to give it a go. We got down ther bout 4.30 and got some livies, we decided to throw a few lures and see what happens. I wasnt holding high hopes of catching much! Let alone one of these elusive jacks!! We started a troll and let Joe have the first fish so i started motoring along the rocks, after a shaky start in the tinny he landed his lure in the water, no sooner had it hit the water he yells IM ON!! I thought he had snagged the rocks at first but his line was darting all over the place then in came a brilliantly red coloured 450 long mangrove jack! Couldnt wipe the grin off the buggers chops for the rest of the night! Kept going for another hour or so with a few more hits then decided to call it quits. Will be heading back down soon as possible.

Coomera sure has produced a lot of quality jacks this year. Lets hope there is some left for next year. Well done on quality jack.
