Sunday Morn Peel
Made a quick run to Peel Is Sunday morning, got there from Victoria Point at 8.30 am for the high tide, managed plenty of bumps for 4 hookups and two Snapper landed, best 63 cm. Surecatch Lil Jerk 4" took 3 of the hits and a Berkley 5" Gulp the fish in the photo. Back at the ramp by 11 am.
Cheers

Re: Sunday Morn Peel
Excellent stuff buddy. What side of peel did you get them?
Is that a lime tiger jerk shad?
It's all part of the fishing experience

Sensational Bay Snapper, looks like you picked the right end of the bay to target. I tried Green and Mud to no avail on Sunday morning, even the trusty Pumpkin seed minnow grubs didn't work. What depth were you fishing in?

Re: Sunday Morn Peel
Hi Tinn,
Lime Tiger jerk is spot on, had more takes on the Lil Jerk in clear with black fleck, just dipped in the gulp juice from an empty pack, Fish came from Sunken Reef to Hanlon light 12-20 ft along the edge. No special spot, just manouvered through all the anchored boats with the electric working with the sounder for baitschools of Hardyheads. Lost two screamers to the coral
