Fishing Off Moreton / Stadbroke Island 17 March 2007

Hi All

Went out fishing yesterday with Terry.

Got to the boat ramp to be greeted by Marlin Mikes he was down the ramp.

Put the boat in the water and headed out.

The water was still and smooth until we approached the south passage bar and it was very sloppy with a decent swell we continued to the northern channel and the water was calm with a small swell.

Tried a few spots along the 33 s with no luck, decided to move south and caught a few finger marks a parrots but all a bit small.

with several drifts we ended up with 1 x snapper, 1 x parrot and 1 x cobia (kg).

we also lost 1 x cobia but thats why i suppose its called fishing and not catching.

had a good trip but to the boat ramp, to be greeted again by marlin mike at the ramp.

all in all a reasonably quite day but a good day.
