On the way back from Peel this morning I took a line between 2 large sailing yachts on the way to Raby Bay - now these boats were less than 50m apart and going about the same speed so I think now they were together.

Anyway as I approach from the sterm and commit to the pass the girlfriend looking port and another mate looking starboard (at each yacht) start giggling profusely. So when I look around I see these 2 old fellas cruising along totally starkas - they both very subtly sat down I we passed but the damage was already done.

Pretty funny experience - would like to bet that with the number of boats around today we werent the only ones that saw them.

By the way we came back with a pair of good plate sized shovellies, and a very nice tusky the girlfriend picked up on the first bait. Saying that, as we pulled up at the mark near peel 2 boats were loaded up so we knew it would be a productive session.

Also lost the head of a decent livy about 1cm forward from the shoulder hook I had placed after we saw an approx 2m shark breach and roll mid-air. Was kicking myself because I usually lip hook them but went sholder and anal fin this time!
