    Mud Island Sun (18th March)

Left Colmslie ramp around 5.00 am, nice run out to Mud, no wind, nice & flat. Fished the Southern side without much success until around 7am. Moved around to a nice little spot on the Eastern side, which resulted in a few undersize Squire & sweetlip. Heaps of grinners & other small stuff until around 10am when the reel screamed zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, after a five minute fight a cod measuring 42cm was netted. Had another couple of bust offs within ten minutes, but no other keepers. All up caught around 30 fish for the day, at least they weren't catfish or sharks. Back at Colmslie ramp around 2pm (burnt to a crisp!!)

Was that Foggy i spotted out there early this morning?

    Pic of Cod attached.

This one is a Greasy Rockcod, the legal size is 38cm, maximum size is 100cm. Do you have a pic of the one you caught?

    Cheers.

    Yep. That was me.

We got 7 snaps from 40-54cm and then headed over to moreton. Fish a mark n/e of the nelson for lots of undersize reefies.

    Beautiful day out there.
