    Thumbs up Moreton Trags

Decided to try the weather out for an offshore trip on Saturday, the first for the season.
On the water by 3:20am on spot x by 4:50, pick down berley up and as expected the current was motoring. Still managed to pick up some Trag jew. Boated six then went quiet, tried the drift method and picked up a pigfish, flathead and pearly. Had a visit from a school of small mahi mahi and boated one of those.

    Home by 12:30.
All in all a great day and a nice feed

Nah didnt try the sea anchor, I have never used one before but I thought they were only worked if the boat is being blown by the wind. When we drifted our lines were pretty much straight down therefore the sea anchor wouldnt help much. Is that how the theory works?

    Thanks spiro
