    Our lucky country

G Day All, dont you just love this beautifull country we live in. Sometimes i think we just take it for granted, to get out in the wonderfull waterways of Moreton bay & catch fish, we are so lucky Well today was just another one of those days, on board was Cobiaman, Macca, Justin & myself and our intended species was mackrel & tuna. Not a lot of mackrel around only managed one schoolie for the day and one tuna. Macca managed to better his last weeks PB of an 11kg longtail to a 23kg model using a live tailor. Will be out next weekend trying to better this 23kg so stay tuned.

    Re: Our lucky country

That is a huge longtail! Congratulations!
Have to agree with your sentiments re the lucky country, and I'm sure we all do take it for granted to some extent or another, just human nature really.
Lets just hope it stays this way, for our kids and their kids!
To me the old expression 'the price of liberty is eternal vigilence' is just so true, especially in this day and age.
    Cheers.

    Re: Our lucky country

Well done. How long did it take him to get it to the boat? Those things don't seem to run out of steam very quickly.

    Cheers
