Johnny Mitchell's website is "www.fishawoonga.com". Check out the post "awoonga barra drought broken". I went out with him a week and a half ago and we had a great trip. We hooked 15 and landed 12 in a great session and he was still trying to put us on more fish when they slowed up. You can't ask for more than that.

Johnny M is the go , the guys that started the thread " awoonga barra drought broken" say it all , great bloke , awesome day out on the water and the info gained from one charter about barra fishing and the lake would be priceless to any angler.

Motty's a gun fisho too, but local knowledge wins hands down in the hard times.
If I was headn south I'd look up motty for sure, his comp results speak for themself.

i fished with mathew mott @ awoonga 1/4/2007 and could not ask for better. we had him booked for 2 days and ended with 4 days. 2 days awoonga (30knot winds) 2 days callide casting pastics.
unreal fishing over 30 fish landed.
heaps lost at motty's amusment and our amazement.
unreal week.
