I am 50/50 with SCALEM as i fish with 16lb and 8lb Leader and more often than not I am thankful for having the 16lb on at the time. I would also entertain the TT jigheads - can't say enough top things about the strength of these hooks!

Good luck with your SP's as they continually 'breed' in the hiding spot...

I have caught some nice fish with 15KG main line braid, with only 5KG leader. But where's your sense of adventure?? Try 2KG for snapps in the bay, that will get the heart pumping!!!

I was referring to leader only when I said 16lb & 8lb... I don't use anything above 10lb braid as my main line.... Hope this clarifies my response. You should see how your heart pumps when you have a Spanish on 8lb braid...
