GM - do you mean, steyer = Steyr (30 odd year old pea shooters )
You mean the Navy is doing it's once a year range shoot?

Re: Securité Securité Securité
During the usual morning briefing I usually was asleep whenever the topic of notices of live firing restrictions came up. As the operational paramedic acting as a sandbag in the back of the whirley bird I could never understand the reason for the commotion. I mean, they kept passenger airliners out of an area where artillery was lobbing rocks over the horison. I can fully appreciate staying out of a missile test range, but when you are lobbing a thing the size slightly bigger than a football over the horison...... they must have rocks in their heads for being that cautious.
One day in bar a artillery instructor told me that their 155 mm howitzer rounds turn at an altitude of 26 ooo feet before heading down back to mother earth again.
Point taken, DUCK and stay well away whether on land, sea or in the air. The big boys are playing with their big toys.

Interesting post
I prefer live baits to live shells, but no doubt they should be effective on the deeper off shore reefs.
Cheers
