Hey fellaz i just got a new boat it has a navman 5600 gps can anyone tell me what it is like and the sounder is a navman 4500 is it a good in sounder in deep water around 100-150 meters of water
Hiya Tassie JR, welcome to Ausfish.
Pretty sure the 4500 is Navmans top colour fishfinder, and the 5600 is the top of the range tracker, so I must say I'm somewhat envious! http://www.marinews.com/electronic_t...ils.php?tID=76
Here is a review of the 4500.
600 watts rms, should be great for what you want.
Very good score, what boat did you buy?
Cheers.
Think you will like the navman 5600. I had one in my last boat and did not have a problem with it. Very easy to read & use plus has the advantage of adding a fuel transducer, if you havent already got one and possibly doing some miles its certainly worth putting in as its a lot more accurate than normal gauges.
