Russell.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
What I do - bring worms home from beach in sea-water as opposed to rolled in dry sand.
Pour into ice cream container, drain off water then cover with sufficient metho.
Leave for 15 seconds only.
Drain, roll worms on absorbent kitchen paper.
Seperate into lots, enough for each sortee, then into snap lock bags and freeze.
Upon thawing, roll in dry sand.
I've found whiting bream and dart prefer the fresh product down these parts, but school jew love the metho'd worms, so suits me!
Cheers!
Add a bit of red food colouring to the metho.... in my own personal experience the worms with a bit of red in them caught more fish. But as nigel said, only leave them in the metho for a short time.
Hmmmmm
Wonder how they would go in a bottle of Tequila.
That little worm in their is legendary.
At least you would be able too lick you finger's after baiting up, that sand get's stuck between your teeth!
