    Fishing in Yepoon

I recently spent some time in Yeppoon doing a bit of fishing and working with some freinds and despite the bad weather we were still able to manage some nice catches in the creeks. The pictures include a 46cm cod, 39cm bream, 67cm lizard and a 76cm barra. The barra which was my first from the saltwater and was caught on opening day after a long day throwing lures into snags. We decided to troll back to the ramp and ended up hooking this barra on a b52.

Looks like a lot of fun. That's a stonker bream. Lucky the fishing's good, there's not much else to do in yeppoon
Fishing for the thrill, not for the kill

Hi a pc-geek taking the likes of fishing here.

Last night at the causeway between Yeppoon and Emu Park, I must picked some luck when I caught a 1.5kg dusky flathead. I was on the bridge and when I made the catch, there happens to be a very keen guy who helped bring in my catch. I tried to offer him the fish on my family's recommendations for his help but he refused as it was my catch.

A while later that same guy caught a small cod (what I was told it was) (I am no fishing expert lol). My father caught another similar cod or so it was the one the guy caught before. He kept it.

Must have been a very good weekend at the coast for fishing

Nice mix in the catch there. At least your getting some fish. Or for that matter. You get to go fishing.

This weekend things will turn in my favour.
Why is all the good weather around on weekdays?
