Thought A boat Got me Line and was Dragging it

Was fishing out near currumbin bridge, cast out, sat on my chair, rod went off..At the time a boat was passing by, fairly close, thought he had picked up my line
because it was going steady but not hard..So started to reel in slowley, was still pulling, by this time I thought the boat cant have??????. Didnt know what I had on the other end, still was pulling steadlily but "Not" hard nor fighting..
Now I was confused lol, doesnt take much Ha.

Anyway kept reeling in, got the line in closer saw some thrashing about, and....
VOILA...
This came in



I did let it go.. Just after that a bigger one was spotted hovering up at the surface, big span too...

AAh the ole flapjack aka doormat, you get them on the beaches quite often. they can fool you into thinking it's something big. they put up some good resistance when in a current.
Oh well...

Next Time a Big one .. OH went out tonight, caught another one with our lad.. There is alot about, especially off beaches..
