Any mud worms at donny

Hi, Im pretty new to the saltwater fishing and don't get out much but I'm slowly learning things by reading different articles. I usually fish at Donnybrooke and target whiting and flaties with no big results but get a feed.
I have read about the worms the live in the mud near the mangroves , I was wandering if there were any in the Donnybrooke area . Just wanted to know before i started digging in the mud

Ive been told theres some up bullocky creek ( turn right at donny).
haven't tried myself i don't know whether its worth all that mud and time, when i can buy enough for a good session for 12 bucks and pump some yabs as an alternative.
