    Wello - practice needed

Dad and I visited the Wello area today. Neither of us have fished this area much before and there's definitely room for improvement. Great day on the water with a westerly early dropping out to nothing by 9am. 2 keeper squire came aboard with the best going 55cm.

    That's still pretty good.

I took a look at Wello on Monday night - but the winds were simply too strong and the waves were a little too big for us (we were on kayaks).

Wello is a great place that holds some good fish.

Good going there DEZZER given it's not the ideal time for Wello Snaps this weekend... Oh, and trust me when I say there is always room for improvement in the plastic stakes!!!

Yea, it was a beaut day on the Bay. Conditiond like that can make thingsa bit difficult along withthe less than ideal tides. At least you got a feed and a bit of fun

Well done, a 55 cm Snap

It's taking me a while to repeat a fish of that size from wello, I seem to be stuck with low to mid 40's. Good going!!

A 55cm squire is great going. As Scalem has said there seems to be a plentiful supply of the 40cm models but I can take a guess and attribute that to the fact T1 fishes there. He obviously left you one. Good on you for catching it. Those threadie killers have got to run out soon and then Wello stocks will be more abundant.

I would hazard a guess that that one there is one of the 5 I lost last week at Wello ! There's still another 4 out there somewhere and after yesterdays dismal effort at Mud, watch out you 4 next week!!!!

As for the TMSK special DROO, i'm down to my last 2 packs but never fear, I have 60packs on the way...
