Popper munching Gt's

Couldn't help Myself and went for a run late yesterday for a few hours of Popper Throwing this was the result

WoooHooo,Throwing poppers at trevs is about as spectacular as it gets.Good stuff,what sort of retrieve do you use for em.

Great fish.

What an excellent tussle to get them into the boat.

I too am interested in the conditions - what was general location - was it close to land (in a cove or bay) or did you get it in open water.

and also what type and size of popper?

I got a 75CM Golden trevally on a red head 70-80mm river to sea popper recently ( i think that was the dimensions) with slow constant retrieve with a "flutter every 4-5m followed immediately by 1-2 bloops. - fishing in the middle of a 7m deep channel
