    Re: Jewies on poppers

I know the rooster popper in the white and red, is a weapon for many off the rocks, also the pencil ones are good too.

Pencils have a smaller top and thicker bottom than the standard popper.

....Very true Dizzy Borg is an expert at this type of fishing...I met him when he owned the iluka bait & tackle......Most of the guys who get Jew on poppers do so when the rivers are in flood and the jew are smacking the mullet on the surface.
I used to fish Roseville Bridge in Sydney quite a lot and some nights you would see jew smashing the surface hitting the mullet.....I only ever caught them there on bait however .

Looks alright, just remember to slow everything right down
I liked the halco roosters as they give a large distinct BLOOP when they are twitched.
Im sure the Haymakers would work well also
When i tried pencil poppers i found they mostly just attracted alot of tailor and trevs
