Hinton 4.5M Max HP rating

Hi all,
I have recently aquired what I am almost certain is a Hinton 4.5m half cabin, that since been converted into a cuddy cab (and I am now converting to an open boat).
The problem is the rego papers list this boat as a Steber craft, with max HP rating of 55hp. This might be dodgy but I think it was a genuine mistake seeing as the hull is old etc etc - I can get the make changed by a boat code dealer for about $30 - but I need to a) convince him that it is in fact a Hinton (how?) and I need the max hp rating. This I assume must be over 55hp as I have never seen a Hinton advertised with as small an engine as this (75,85 even 115 but that must have been for skiing).
