    Smile snapper 78cm on 15lb handline

    Hi folks

    Thought I would give this video thing a 1st go and share a moment of fishing fun.

    This video only shows the end of the fight as I had to get gear out of the road, find gloves forWayne’s soft hands and put them on for him before I could get the camera.

    The fishing had slowed down a little so Wayne said watch this as he grabbed a 15lb hand line with single hook and no weight, he put on a whole pillie and floated it down the burlie trail.

    It didn’t take long before he was on and line was passing through his fingers in a cutting fury with colourful words coming out of his mouth. I called it a Kingfish to stir him up but he said straight away it was a good snapper.

    The line had put some nice cuts in his fingers before I put the gloves on for him and after I put them on the fish had another good run and cut straight through the gloves back into his cut fingers again.

    Wayne was one happy fella when it was in the net

    Nice fish indeed! Ouch about the fingers but i'm sure the pain would have been relieved once he had that fish in his hands!!!

    Just got back from Fraser with Wayne and you have him stumped as to who would know about his gaff was it the mac tuna gaff at Minnie Water (don't get my boat dirty) or the other one? We even made up stickers for his car with Gaffa on them but he tore them straight off
