    Re: gps

The Raymarine takes Navionics charts and in my opinion the detail of the charts leaves Garmin Blue Chart and C-map for dead.

Owners Manual for the unit - scroll towards bottom of page and download pdf file. This is exactly the same owners manual that comes in the box.

Use the link to look at the DS 600 X fish finder as well, as it is the NMEA connectable Pidgeon Pair for the RC 435 GPS unit.

I chose the external antenna for my boat. The 435 i has an internal antenna and is a little cheaper, but I wanted the external just in case I upgrade my boat to something that has stuff over head of where the gps is fitted. These are too good a unit to sell with a boat.

The navionics does have very good chart detail. The unit is easy to use as well.

    Cheers
