Re: Series 3 - The 4X4 Show - Camp Cooking
Hi Derek,Thought I might toss these into ring, plenty of recipes for these on internet to determine quantities:1. Corned silverside cooked in campoven with cloves, vinegar, sugar, onion, then half way cooked add carrots potatoes and cabbage.2. Ox tail stew.3. Chicken with mushrooms, onion, potatoes in white wine.4. Slow baked Greek Lamb with olive oil and garlic (must be done on the bone.)This makes me hungry, must go and raid the fridge. All the bestTony

Re: Series 3 - The 4X4 Show - Camp Cooking
Derek,
I noticed on the show that a lot of your meals are only relatively small portions. Is it possible to show how to do larger meals? eg. large roast
Also I'd probably favour the simple recipes with simple ingredients, eg roast and potatos/carrots. Then you can concentrate on showing the viewers how you do those sort of fairly simple things. (Note: I've only seen 4 or 5 episodes so ignore me if you covered this stuff alreadt)

Thanks for the feedback.
When the producers were putting it together they asked me specifically to cook single serve meals. Will see what I can do next time.
