hey just wondered how many or,if anyone has caught tagged barra at lake monduran

Nope never seen one. I know Paul [Big Ren] and Navi [Black Sheep] have tagged heaps in there and I dont think they have had one recaptured. Good Question BJ1-have you seen one?

yeah i caught a tagged one 102cm long a couple weeks ago

yeah i got the details off the tagg and rang the number but they are yet too send me all the details on the fish. cant wait til the send me them to find out when, where and how big it was when it was tagged

Hopefully we'll be tagging a few more in two weeks time up at Monduran, but to answer the question, no I have not recaptured a tagged barra....would be a buzz though.

thanks....im really just quite curious because when i caught the tagged barra i was happy but didnt really think much of it. but ive been asking around no-one that ive spoken to has caught a tagged barra at monduran.

We think it's just another good habit to get into....takes an extra 5-10secs max...recording the details is the time consuming part though. Navi (Black Sheep) has been tagging them for years now.

When you go up to Monduran in a couple, what size are you after for tagging?
Are meterys on the adgenda or are you tagging the juniors?

They're all tagged because they're all still growing.....even the 50cm jobbies that get tagged will provide useful information when they're recaptured two years later at 70 odd. But, having said that, metreys would be nice in the sticks hey?
