Good day to who can help me,
I have a 9.9 johnson 1976 sea horse I looking for anyone who may know the spark plug gap for this motor cos I havning a hard time trying to run my motor and just wondering why she all ways smoking

plug gap around 1 mm
always smoking your running TOO much oil.
i have 9.9 that i souped up to a 15 and it smoks like barstard IF you mix your fuel wrong. needs to be accurate and needs to be fresh fuel not 3 months old or from the mower.

thank you so much it look like half my problem was the spark at sitting 1.8mm and I will look at my oil mixed more carefully
