is it a bonito ?

if so.. what are they like to eat.. i released all of them

Yes mate, it is a Bonito.

It is a Watsons Leaping Bonito. Lovely looking fish.

Great troll baits for big Spanish, Wahoo, Marlin etc.

Good cut bait as well for reefies and Tailor

Great bait, be it whole, cut or frames for the crabs.... but no good on the table.

Bonito,

Bleed them well and ice them straight away. Take some fillets off and slice then finely, dip in soy mixed with ginger and you have a very nice sashimi dish
