    mud sat arvo

    Had a phone call from my eldest daughter yersterday
    dad can we go for a fish so i gathered up a few bananas that i caught on monday got some mullet gut and of to mud. we arrived at mud at 2pm we hat a hot session on prawns but ran out got a few on gut plenty small one but ended up with 4 squire 2 sweetlip
    back at ramp at dark

    Funny how dad will jump when the daughter asks.

    How high did you have to go?

    Hope you had an enjoyable afternoon of it. I love to go on what I call family days because they are the days the kids will remember forever.

    Mate, couldn't bring yourself to use those platics huh?! At least you got out with your daughter and i really can't wait till my son is old enough to get him out there that's for sure!

    but could find any bait on sounder
    so i used banana prawns

    You've got no idea how good it is to take your kids out fishing with you and watch them catch their first and so on. I am now doing it with my grandkids and it's just as much fun with them. The photos become treasured family mementos.
    Fishing is great for bonding with your kids and you can look forward, with great anticipation, to when your little bloke is old enough to go with you.

    Pete,

    I didn't think you were out there so I didn't turn on my radio. Sorry about that. You must have been more north than us because the only other boat on the east side I saw was a tinnie.

    Sounds like you did ok for a short trip. We ended up with a mixed bag of 8, but we pushed on till about 10.00pm.
