Re: Heading to Teewah tomorrow
I was up there about 3 weeks ago, the first time for a few months. I went up just to have a look with a view to a weeks camping up there soon. There was almost no weed at all - the only bit I saw was right down near the river mouth, the rest of the beach was clear all the way to DI Point. The access points to the beach were all rather soft since there's been so little rain and lots of vehicles were taking 2 or 3 tries to get off the beach. Travelling the beach was OK from half tide down, but there was a lot of soft sand above that especially in the first few kilometres from the crossings. The worming was good the day that I was there but the fish were very scarce, although the tides weren't great for fishing that day. Remember that the beach may be closed at Freshwater due to the removal of the Cherry Venture, although I think they are letting vehicles through around low tide.

Re: Heading to Teewah tomorrow
Thanks freedom, thanks for the heads up. The fishing and worms were very patchy however the weather was beautiful. Will be heading up again the middle of march to camp for a couple of days hopefully. Beach access through the second cutting at north shore wasn't a problem a large puddle to go through but it wasn't very deep. Basil2
