Hi all
Weather conditions have not been great over the past week, but there have still been a few fish caught. The spotties are in close around Green and although they have not been huge, they were prolific mid week and on the surface.
Mud crabs have been fairly consistent in and around estuaries. Deep holes at the mouths of creeks are working well.
You should get the odd school mackerel if you head out to the Redcliffe Jetty good bait is Pillies.
Awesome jacks have been caught on plastics over recent weeks at Newport Waterways as well as estuary cod, trevally and bream have also been well and truly on the chew.
Flathead and whiting in the channels around low tide down at the pin. The pin bar has produced some good school and spotted mackerel in the early morning with good catches on Pillies and chrome slugs.
The shallows up at Cape Moreton are producing well but you have to be up and about early. Sweetlip, squire, pearlies, trevally and rosy job, and the odd gold spot wrasse on the chew as the sun comes up.
Attachments just in wayne with some good squire from Green Island.
Regards
Shane Boese
