Hi, yes I know it is still early but just seeing who was making the journey up to the Fraser fishing Expo this year. There was a good roll up from Ausfish last year and I am sure there was not too many people who were dissappointed. For anyone thinking about going but not sure, I highly recommend it as a week of great fishing, cold beer and lots of fellow fishers to talk about the big ones. A great time is had by all.
Only a couple of months to go. Hope to see you all up there.

Will be there with bells on cant wait. Comp fees have been paid since Oct 2006. Will be up there with Redspeckle, Dfox, Revs57,Two weeks of straight fishing and fun see you all there.

Yep Flamin Riptide will be there. This year we have a house and there are 12 of us going up. We even have our own Chef to do all the cooking. Rhys has his crew then there is myself and redspeckle with JB and his crew.

Well, I am doing my first expo.
Can't wait, after seeing all the fun and mayham that happens up there, on the DVD's.
Are there any tips anyone would like to share about the expo with a first timer.
I have been to Fraser a few times, the latest being when a heap of 4wd clubs did the cleanup there over the Australia Day Weekend.

I was going to the expo with a mate, but he has had to pull out, so I will be going by myself.

First welcome to Ausfish. Mate is a great site and no dought you will learn a lot as I have over the time that I have been a member.
As for the fraser comp I have lost count the number of times I have been. To this day I have never been in the car draw or one a prize may this year. Got to tell you thought I cant wait. Being it on.

this will be my first time on fraser let alone the comp , and to be invited by rhys to fish with him , foxy(good to meet ya a sundown yesterday) and birdy has to be one of the great honours and i recon meeting the rest of the ausfishers and having a beer/n/bullshit session will be a hoot.
