Mate the say the same thing every year. Last year we needed 300 lts just for the gen set so it doesnt leave much for the boat. My motto is out off site out off mind in you now what i mean.

    Shane

PS If fuel is $1.25 here you can bet it will be around $1.50 up there.

Shane, yes mate those gen sets sure are thirsty, we needed the same amount last year for ours. Will take the same amount again this year and hope the gen set has run in a bit more and we might have a bit to spare for fishing. We got 11 days straight out fishing last year so can afford to be a bit more choosey in the fish we keep, which is handy. Come to think of it my boat must have a pretty BIG fuel tank to only need to keep 50 lts at the camp. Just lucky I guess...

Yep not long now just got the fishin rig back from being serviced. Time to start laying out all the fishing gear and checking for faults. Got the ugly job of rust proofing the 100 series on the weekend. Redspeckle all ready has his bags packed. Bring on the comp and the good weather to go with it. Two weeks three days to go.

    Regards Shane

2 WEEKS boys, starting to get excited. Are we all ready???? Just read the FFI updated website, outside fishing report. Looks good at the moment for REDS. Am looking forward to trying out the new FCV585. I hope it shows the reds at least, whether I can catch them is a different story. Nothing beats trying but hey.

Murf, not sure mate about the UHF, I dont have one. That Pebbly beach sounded good. Will catch you up there, you are off the lefthand side of the Ocean lake track aren't you? Keep an eye out for us after lunch on Tuesday and come over for a beer. Will be in a champagne colour Prado and a 100 series the same colour. We will be on the corner of the Ocean lake track and the road that vias right along the back of the dunes if it is vacant again, been lucky the last coupla years.Lee
