looking forward to meeting you guys this year at the comp and put names to faces,and have more than a few ales, but have we worked out a secret handshake yet ,or do we have another way of recognizing each other? Maybe we all could get some shirts made with ausfish logos on them? Be a great way to meet, and get the ausfish site out there?? Thoughts???

Your boat???We all better make sure our trailers are in perfect condition and hope they return the same way. Hopefully the regular maintenance we all do will be enough and will see some benefit with no breakages.Lee

Annual leave was approved yesterday, 11 days on Fraser !
Damo, mate lets just hope the weather gods are good to us again this year. We got 11 days straight last year fishing the reef. You certainly do need to start targeting the bigger fish after a few days to stay within the bag limits or eat a
sh!t load of fish while your up there. We did a bit of both and ended up with some good quality fish to bring home. If this is your first year, mate you are in for an adventure like no other. What day are you looking at going up?

Yep May is always a good time of the year. We are hoping to head up on the Wednesday before the comp but depends on a few guys getting the time off as well.
I will be there. Got my entry form in last week. We have a team of four and will be bringing a Stessl Tri-Hull.
Camping on the Beach. Can't get up there until the Friday - hopefully there will be a spot left at Ocean lake.

The waddy point camp is all booked out. Beach camping seems to be non-specific, that is you cannot reserve a particular spot and it apples to the whole east coast of Fraser. Still plenty left last time I looked.
Murf, will keep an eye out for you - what day are you going up? I have a Blue Navara TD Dual cab Reg 567 HQZ.
