Moved to the Gold Coast

I've just moved to the Gold Coast from Gladstone and I'm pretty keen to get out and go fishing.
I've got a 460 Freedom Sport and I my preferred fishing has been out on the reef although I'm keen to fish around the canals and the Seaway.
We're currently living in Surfers but are looking to move a bit further south in the next couple of months.
I'd love to talk to some of you ausfishers who know what's going on in the fishing department around here.
Have managed to catch a couple of fish in the canal including a mangrove jack, so I'm enjoying it already.

wlecome to gods fishing hole

i dont do to much reef fish out from the seaway but do plenty in the braodwater around labrador / coomera river area

i do have a few gps points for outside if that helps
