    Unhappy PDF files

I cant seem to open the PDF files when I go into either the MSQ or DPI web sites and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how they worked around it.

    Re: PDF files

Large PDF's are best saved to your computer (right click & 'save as') then open them from there. It seems to be quicker & more reliable then opening them via the net.

    Re: PDF files

I have had trouble before where they have not had the files linked correctly. Can you give me a URL of where you are having the trouble?

I have checked some on this page and they load fine
    http://www.dpi.qld.gov.au/cps/rde/xc...1_ENA_HTML.htm

Make sure your Adobe reader is up to date, go to
    http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
    and install the latest version.

Also have a look at the Large File handling page on the DPI site

    http://www.dpi.qld.gov.au/cps/rde/xc...8_ENA_HTML.htm

Attempting to open large files (such as PDFs) within the browser window may lead to software problems such as your browser freezing or crashing.

    Talking Re: PDF files

    Thanks Steve,

Downloaded the latest version of Adobe and yep it works. It appears my version had been deleted when I upgraded to windows XP recently. Anyway thanks again.

    cheers Bob
