Went crabbing today for the first time in a long while, down at Wynnum. Caught some excellent muddies. The biggest going 19.5cm and weighed 1.73kg.
Looking forward to dinner.

I keep looking at that one at the front of plate lol...watch who sees that lol... Caught a few with claws like that over the last couple of days...Until then I didn't real take much notice of the difference.
well done mate all i can seem to get are jennies and im getting grief cause everyone wants a feed
Squiggle,
I can assure you that smaller one was a buck, just legal at 15.3, but a buck nevertheless. My mate and I had a double check before we tipped it overboard thinking the same thing. It just had much smaller nippers in comparison to the larger ones. LOL.
Before you go crucifying people and making accusations, I always adhere to catch regulations and are well aware of the reasons for their existence.

dont worry stev0 jealousy is a curse. Well done nice catch
Nice one!! Good to see , those big fellas are impressive when you pull them out.
Hardly lol.
You's obviously measure your crabs up there different to what we do down here.
Here they have to be 8.5cm from front to back. How are they done there?
Yesterday I seen a split 99% empty shell washed up with the tide, of what would have been a huge crab..The nippers on him were the size of my hand (small womans hand). Seems he might have met a hungry fish.
Lovely Muddies there Steve0, bet that kept the kids busy for a while. Top effort.
Still nobody seems to know how to measure crabs up there in QLD...obviously you's do it from side to side? Come on fella's it's not a hard question
